Policies and Procedures

My coaching practice:

Thank you for taking the first step on your healing journey with me! I am honored to walk alongside you. I believe you have the courage, strength, and wisdom within you to heal from your personal trauma. I am here to support you, offering my own wisdom and tools to aid you. As humans, we all carry wounds; we are not inherently broken. I believe we possess inherent worth and value. I am here to coach you, not to pathologize or label you. For some, having a diagnosis can be helpful, while for others, it may not be as beneficial.

Disclosures:

  • All coaching sessions will occur over Zoom. The Zoom platform is not HIPAA compliant and therfore I can not 100 percent guarantee with certainty that information shared through Zoom is safe from a data breach.

  • If the sessions are recorded I will transfer that information along with my personal notes I take during a session onto an external hard drive which will be locked up every night to keep it safe.

  • Everything that is discussed or shared with me will be kept confidential. I will only break that confidentiality if I feel you are in danger of harming yourself or another person, if you report abuse to someone or if I receive a legal subpoena to release your records.

  • As a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach TM, I act as a mandatory reporter, as outlined by The International Association of Trauma Recovery Coaching. If I become aware that a minor, disabled person or elderly person is currently being abused I am mandated to report that abuse to the appropriate governing agency.

I am limited in my own abilities to help you with certain things you might be dealing with. If you are suicidal, significantly self-harming or have active addiction- the Association mandates that I help you find someone who is competent in those expertises for those specific issues. We can still work together, however it will require another professional who specializes in whatever safety issue you are currently dealing with. This is part of the Escalated Care Protocol and I can give you more details about that if you inquire.

My Fees:

I charge $65 per a 1 hour coaching session.
