What to Expect

Each person’s experience with trauma is different, which is why our work together is tailored to your unique needs and capacity. This is not a one-size-fits-all process, and it’s not about quick fixes. It’s about slowing down, tuning in, and taking meaningful steps toward feeling safe within yourself.

As a parts work practitioner I help guide you to befriend parts of yourself.  Even the parts that other parts of you might not want to be around.  You know, that voice inside of you that says you're not good enough, that's an inner critic for example.  Forming relationships with your parts further builds trust and safety inside of yourself.  Becoming more of who you were created to be, creating integration inside of you.

I work at a slower pace, allowing for a balanced nervous system and emotional stabilization.  Taking time to build trust with your protectors so there is no backlash from them allows for a smooth transition into exiled parts of you.  Parts that hold false beliefs about yourself and much of the trauma.  Unburdening them is crucial for deeper healing, allowing them to come alive and not be stuck in the past, when trauma occurred.

A Personalized Approach to Trauma Healing

Coupled with parts work at the core is working with attachment.  I'm sure you have heard of attachment styles such as anxious, avoidant, disorganized and secure attachment.  I like to work with parts of you that have a particular attachment style.  They may come up at specific times around different individuals in your life.  Breaking it down to bit size pieces makes it easier to work with and to help become more secure within yourself.  It's bigger than just in relationships, its attachment to creation itself, something much bigger than you individually.  You were created to attach, to form healthy relationships with others and the world around you.  Healing trauma allows you to first become secure within yourself and with all your parts.  Then you can step out with confidence, being grounded in who you are and attracting others to your genuine sense of self energetically.

Why Choose Coaching Over Therapy?

Therapy and coaching both play important roles in healing, but coaching provides a different kind of support.

  • A Peer-Based Approach: I meet you as an equal, not as a clinician diagnosing a problem.

  • Practical, Somatic, & Experiential: Less talking about healing, more actively working through it.

  • You Set the Pace: No rigid treatment plans or pathology—just intuitive, trauma-informed guidance that honors your nervous system’s capacity.

How Coaching Is Different:
